Cucumber Marketmore Seeds
The Marketmore variety of cucumber is one of the classic easy to grow varieties, as recommended by Monty Don on BBC Gardener's World in 2013.
The plant is productive producing a mid early medium sized fruit with few spikes. The cucumber is dark green with ridges. Has a good flavour and perfect for salads. Try tossing it diced with fresh tomatoes and an olive oil dressing, or slicing and dicing thinly and mixing with fresh garlic and a greek yoghurt dressing and black pepper.
Performs well undercover but can be grown outside in sheltered sunny areas.
