Pick when they are small and tender, wash and steam or roast with other root vegetables.
Easy to grow, sow thinly into the ground then thin as required when the first shoots appear.
Grow a row on onions near at the carrots to put off the nasty carrot fly.
Great for children to grow too... who'd have thought a carrot was yellow ;)
